Who Are The Detox Divas?
Toronto girls-about-town and friends for over a decade, Bhargavi Varma and Shruti Owerie formed Detox Divas in 2008 after embarking on the Isagenix cleanse program at the recommendation of a TV producer friend. Both Shruti and Bhargavi were overworked in their marketing jobs and saw the results of it in their tired skin, lacklustre hair and toxic fat in unsightly places. And so they started the cleanse…
They knew something was up when they noticed a change on Day One of the cleanse. The first thing they noticed was the energy boost and being able to, ahem, work hard and party harder! Then came the looser fitting shirts, pants and a drop in numbers on the scale. As life long vegetarians, the extra bonus of being full rather than hungry and not having to worry about protein intake for once was too good to be true.
The absolute best part though? Being able to eat dark IsaDelight chocolate everyday of the cleanse! As confessed chocaholics this absolutely put them over the edge as they started to tell everyone and anyone who would listen about how fabulous the Isagenix cleanse and snacks are.
Well, a funny thing then happened after the first two weeks. They received a shiny, glimmering piece of gold in the mail. That would be Gold of the Visa kind. This beautiful piece of plastic with hundreds of dollars on it arrived in the mail and that’s when they realized they were onto to something.
Tell friends about something you love and make money for doing it? Where has this concept been their whole lives! And … Detox Divas was born 
Fast forward two years and the ladies of Detox Divas have grown from a team of 2 to a national team of many passionate, health minded, energetic men (yes, men!), women , spas, salons, yoga studios and other wellness minded businesses. What do we all have in common? We want to share the word about the Isagenix lifestyle, assist people in finding a healthy balance, find financial freedom and make a side income doing so.
